A Little Bit About Me
I love to move.
I grew up in Spain (yes, I speak Spanish but it's a bit rusty!), and was running around barefoot, in and out of the pool all day as a kid.
As a teenager I turned into a gym bunny, and eventually obtained my Level 3 Personal Training diploma. I did work briefly in a gym, but the emphasis on looks and weight loss was a bit soul destroying.
I'd dabbled in yoga for many years but never seriously, until 2017 when at 39 I decided 1. I wanted to learn to handstand and 2. I wanted to start a daily yoga practice!
And there began my love of handstands and yoga. I didn't really know what I was doing to start with, or where to get advice. I sought out workshops and online trainings but it wasn't until 2019 that I discovered LYT® Yoga and it was love at first class! Here was a style of yoga that helped me feel strong and energised, helped me breathe and run better and pretty much had carry over into every aspect of my life! I loved it so much that I certified as a LYT® Yoga teacher as soon as I could!
As I love inversions, arm balances, logical sequencing and transitions, I obtained my 300hr yoga teacher training with the Authentic Movements school.
I live in the Forest of Dean, a beautiful area of the UK, with my cat Fred and partner Barney, where I can indulge my other passions of paddle boarding, walking and mountain biking :) I like to keep moving!
I hope to move with you online or in person soon!
